After months of overthinking, I finally decided to pull the plug and create a blog. Does the thought of sharing my opinions online still terrify me? Absolutely, but I’ll never grow if I remain in a constant state of comfort. Hey, I’m just riding with the waves & trying something new.

Enough about that. You’re here to catch a glimpse of who I am, right? For starters: hey, I’m Elizabeth, but most people call me EC. I’m a native New Englander, but I’ve been spending most of my time in SoFlo. I’ve grown so accustomed to the weather that I now get chills when it drops below 70º (Rhode Island folks don’t come for my life). I’m attending school at Florida State, studying Economics and Psychology. I like to write, create, and take pictures, amongst other, much cooler hobbies such as cooking, curating very specific playlists, eating ungodly amounts of chips and salsa, and being a coffee connoisseur. My career plans will remain exclusive for the time being, because I’ve gotta keep some of my life a mystery. 

So why the blog? I realized my brain never goes a second without a thought, so why not write them down, in hopes that someone can relate. I’ve been told I give good advice, but you can be the judge of that. I’ve also been told I have a weird-way with poetry… again, you can be the judge of that. I want this to be a space where I can articulate my thoughts and connect with you. Right now, there’s no game plan, no scheduled posts, just vibes.
